E. J. Wade is a humanities educator and Learning Behavior Specialist. She is a four-time National Endowment of the Humanities Teacher Institute winner and Gilder Lehrman Seminar recipient, and a two-time Pushcart Award nominee. Her poems are published in the 2020, 2021, 2022 Anthology of Appalachian Writers, and The New Ohio Review. Wade is pursuing a doctorate in Disability and Equity in Education at National Louis University, a Masters of Appalachian Studies at Shepherd University, and a Master of Creative Media at the University of the West of Scotland.
